The best bar to hang out in, with great music and warm, attentive staff. The food is really tasty, perfectly complimented by the unique cocktails- the ‘Cilli’ tequila, cucumber cooler is a firm favourite.
Shoutout Ben & Callum for being the two greatest servers we could have gotten! Great service, great prices, great food, great drinks, great vibes (wonderful pub crawl which we arrived at perfect time for) and even better staff. Me and the boys couldn't have appreciated your kindness for the drinks on the house from the bonus rounds and had a better night to celebrate a special occasion. Will definitely be coming back since one of the best dining occasions we've had in a long time and trying more of their signature foods. P.S - team munchybox...
First visit and we popped in for churros and a cocktail. Great atmosphere and the staff were so lovely. Also got the best alcoholic iced coffee.we’re definitely coming back
Had a really good experience here! We sat down for a couple of drinks and I had one normal margarita and one spicy one. They tasted great and I was pleasantly surprised to find they were under a deal for the weekdays! Highly recommend and would come back to try out the food
Brunch in the sun was excellent. Chicken and waffles was class. Very cute inside too, chill vibes throughout. Our server Callum was awesome, kept the margaritas coming fast :) Will be returning for brunch soon!
Beautiful day in Glasgow so decided to find somewhere in the merchant city where we could eat outside. I had been meaning to go here since it opened and there was plenty of seating outside so no time like the present It was quite early so plenty of tables to choose from. We were immediately attended to and brought drink and food menus. There is a good selection of cocktails and other drinks, neither my mate or me drink so we opted for a couple of mexican colas. The food menu is great as there isn't a vast quantity of things to choose from, through the week they have a lunch offer for 6.95 which is incredibly reasonable. We opted for a couple of main courses, one chicken with waffles for me and a beef birria dish with a bagel dipped in beef sauce with 2 eggs and cheese sauce. The food arrived quickly, they were good sized lunch portions so ideal for what we needed, if I was out for dinner we would probably shared some tacos as a starter or got a couple of sides. The food is amazing, can't fault it, very different from a typical mexican restaurant but with all the combinations of flavours to would expect we both agreed we would be going back. The mains were around 15 and was plenty of food for a lunch, the whole thing came to about 38. Good friendly service and relaxed place to chill out and have great food.
Very relaxed and chilled atmosphere, had the beef birria tacos which were sublime! My partner has a slight aversion to fresh chilli but the team were very helpful with recommendations and alterations to the dishes. Will 100% be back!!!
The sun was out and they have tables outside, so we wandered down and sat outside. The service was friendly and quick the entire time, even as it got busier. The house margaritas were 5.50 and were Texas style - which made me happy. Strong with a good amount of salt on the rim. I highly recommend those if you like a good classic margarita. The food - hubby had fried chicken tacos and a beef one (3 taco lunch price). He liked the fried chicken ones better than the beef. I had the pulled chicken tacos and one beef one and I preferred the beef. They’re served on corn tortillas so they do get wet and fall apart easy - but this is normal. The tacos were good and we were hungry. The nachos have cheese sauce (which is American style nachos - I prefer it to melted shredded cheddar cheese most days for my nachos) and the guac and salsa aren’t fresh/homemade. However, there are plenty of pickled onions, chilis and jalapenos on it to mask that. This is more TexMex food than Mexican (having been to various parts of Mexico over 20 times and lived in San Antonio, Texas for 4 years). I would come here if you love a great margarita and friendly service, and aren’t expecting gourmet Mexican food/tacos. They have great lunch deals during the week so it’s worth a try if you’re in the area
